Who we are

Rohires ("we," "us," "our") is a recruitment agency placing marketing talent based in Romania with companies in the UK, US, and Western Europe. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, and through the recruitment services we provide, and how we use it.

What we collect

• Contact form submissions: name, email, company name, and role details you submit.
• Booking data: when you book a call via our Calendly link, Calendly collects your name, email, and the details you provide at booking.
• Candidate data: where we act as a recruitment agency, we collect and process candidates' CVs, contact details, and interview-related information in order to introduce candidates to clients. This is governed additionally by our Recruitment Agreement with clients.
• Site analytics: we use Google Search Console (search performance data, no cookies, no visitor tracking) and Google Analytics (tracks visitor behavior on this site, sets cookies, see Cookies section below).

Why we process this data

• To respond to enquiries and book calls.
• To provide recruitment services, sourcing, screening, and introducing candidates to clients.
• To maintain business records required for our operations.

Our legal basis for processing is legitimate interest (responding to enquiries, running our business) and, where applicable, contractual necessity (fulfilling a signed Recruitment Agreement) or consent (e.g. newsletter sign-up, if added later).

Who we share data with

We use a small number of third-party tools to operate:

• Calendly, for call scheduling.
• Notion, for storing contact enquiries and managing client records internally.
• Linkardo, for invoicing, where a contact becomes a paying client.

We do not sell personal data to third parties.

Data retention

We retain contact and candidate data for up to 24 months after last contact, unless a longer period is required by law (for example, financial and invoicing records, which are kept in line with standard accounting retention requirements).

Your rights

If you are in the UK or EU, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict our use of your personal data, and to data portability and to object to processing. To exercise these rights, contact us via our Contact page.

International transfers

Given our candidates are based in Romania and our clients are based in the UK, US, and Western Europe, personal data may be transferred across borders. Transfers within the EU/EEA (including between Cyprus and Romania) require no additional safeguard. Where data is transferred to the UK or US, we rely on standard contractual clauses or another safeguard recognized under GDPR.

Cookies

This site uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies to track visitor behavior (pages viewed, time on site, general location). These cookies are not strictly necessary and are only set after you give consent via the cookie banner on this site. Google Search Console does not set cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time by opening Cookie preferences or by clearing cookies via your browser settings.

Children's privacy

This site and our services are not directed at anyone under 18.
